What it is:
A few trainers who work at TPC offer alternative movement training using GOATA movement principles. GOATA (Greatest Of All Time Actions) uses slow motion video analysis to identify disorganized movement patterns in human locomotive movement which may lead to potential injury, or a decrease in total athletic potential. Baseball/Softball are forward locomotive sports. This is accomplished by recoding the athlete via specific exercise regimens, custom designed for the athlete based on a pre-movement video assessment.
The Benefits of being a GOATA mover
Being a GOATA Mover preserves the connective tissue in the joints that get destroyed by irregular movement. By removing this irregular movement with the correct set of exercises you create healing movement patterns that preserve your joints over the course of your life.
When you move like the greatest of all time athletes your balance and coordination are at an elite level allowing you to run, throw, walk, swim, or kick without getting the "itises" or having re-occurring non-contact injuries.
Up-level in Performance
In removing the "itises" and the non-contact injuries associated with irregular or WOATA (Worst Of All Time Actions) movement behaviors you can perform at the highest levels. GOATA has seen increases of 6 - 26% in performance from people who have worked in the GOATA program, all while remaining pain and injury free once their movement patterns were corrected.
Package includes a pre-movement assessment, a custom 21 day exercise regimen, and access to GOATA app based video instruction/exercise program. As a bonus, you will also receive a discount code (at assessment) good for 20% off one purchase from goatashop.com if you wish to purchase any training accessories for home use. Varsity Elite members may use GOATA equipment that is available for use in the gym.
Varsity Elite member cost is $250
Elite, Classic, and Non-Member cost is $300 ($250 deposit + $50 billed at the time of the lesson)
